Please add comments regarding Agee's description of the Grudger, Wilson, and Rickets' land and houses, his inhabitation of place in the two sections we're reading this week, and any thing else you'd like to discuss.

A post from Myles
I'm a fan of human documentation, taking a look at the world and analyzing it through candid moments. One of my favorite sites that documents said documentation is Dirty Found Magazine.
It mostly revolves around human sexuality, but who doesn't like that? You are human, aren't you?
Check it out.
That, and I think everyone should check these out.

writing ideas for this week
This is the brainstorm of ideas we came up with for writing assignments in Amherst this week:
*shadow someone - "so and so's important day"
*person on the street - ask a lot of people the same question
*under-cover cellphone
*interviews
*composite (like Melville's whale extracts or Corwin Ericson's "Check'd Out Ok"
*mess with people's comfort levels - someone else's or your own
*eavesdrop
*"The Weather Made Interesting"
*capture the essence of a place
*photo essay - polaroids with captions, for instance
*study architecture
*play a game and invite strangers to join - i.e. to Create Non-fiction
